All year long are seminars related
to the Spirit of Zen held at the Center.
Zazen sessions and Hitsuzendo can be integrated to
the course of the seminar on the organizer’s
asking.
KENDO
It has been 28 years now that Jacques Fonfrede met Taïkan Jyoji just
returned from Japan, during a Kyudo seminar, held at the first Center
Taïkan Jyoji then occupied. They at once decided that the Center should be
open to the practice of the Way of the
Sword although this was only made possible in 1989,
after the inauguration of the third and present Center.
Since then, Iaïdo and Chanbara, 2 other complementary disciplines of
Japanese fencing, have been added to the practice of Kendo. 2003 is
therefore the 15th Kendo seminar led by Jean-Pierre Soulas (6th Dan Renshi,
President of the CNK/FFJDA), Jean-Jacques Sauvage for
Iaido ( 6th Dan, in charge of the CNK – the kendo national
commission) and Jeanine Zhapova (3rd Dan Iaïdo) for
Chanbara.

The seminars are headed by Kazunori Sasaki Sensei and are
reserved to French students and European practitionners of Iokai Shiatsu.
Kasunori Sasaki Sensei was for many years, the disciple of
and assistant to Master Masunaga. More than 20 years ago, he set up
the European structure of Iokai Shiatsu, through
which he provides the only direct transmission of this method outside
