In Japanese, zazenkai literally means “Zen meeting”. These sessions provide an opportunity to practise zazen in a group.
At the Falaise Verte Zen Centre
Every Tuesday, from 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., the zazenkai at the Falaise Verte is open to all.
The session is composed of two zazen sittings (forty and thirty minutes respectively), separated by a kinhin—walking meditation. We finish with sarei—a sweet cake and a hot drink.
Once a month, private interviews are available during the second sitting of the session, for those who request it.
For people coming for the first time, please:
- let the Centre know a day in advance,
- arrive at 6.15 p.m. to receive instructions on zazen practice.
